List of terms and definitions

  • Source: A data source (files, database, etc.).
  • Pack: Firmware that analyzes a source.
  • Metrics: Results of a pack's analysis of a source, e.g. completeness=0.8.
  • Agent: CLI instance that executes packs (worker).
  • Routine: A recurring execution of a pack on a source.
  • Scope: Perimeter of a source (dataset, table, column, cell, item, etc.) to which metrics or recommendations can refer.
  • Ticket: Task to be undertaken by people, actions to be performed.
  • Project: Organizational entity fostering collaboration by pooling information to carry out quality assurance on a set of sources.
  • Report: Page presenting a set of information on the quality of one or more sources linked to a project. Exportable and shareable.
